Sweet Masala Chai Recipe: Authentic Indian Chai Made Easy

Directions

1. Bring 2 cups water to a boil.

2. Add tea bags or loose tea and steep 15–20 minutes for a strong base.

3. In a separate pan, toast 1 tsp moji masala® Sweet Masala on medium heat for 10–20 seconds until fragrant.

4. Add milk to the toasted masala and warm gently.

5. Combine the brewed tea with the spiced milk mixture.

6. Bring to a boil. Let it rise once, reduce heat. Repeat once more.

7. Simmer until medium-dark brown. Strain if needed. Sweeten if desired. Serve hot.
