Baked Masala Fish

(Serves 2-4)

Chili-free but redolent with the warmth and gentle spice of traditional Indian cooking, this versatile masala will brighten up a mild white fish or enhance more full-flavored seafood.  Enjoy with a Moji Masala spiced vegetable, like cauliflower, and you have a fresh, flavorful and healthy Indian meal in under an hour! 

 

Ingredients

 

2 Fulton fish fillets for a robust flavor pop or 4 fillets for a more delicate seasoning

1 tbs lemon juice

2 tbs olive oil

1 packet MM Baked Fish Masala for Fulton Fish

 

Instructions

1.  Use a fork to poke holes in the fish to allow the marinade to penetrate.

2.  In a small bowl blend lemon juice and olive oil together, then add the contents of the masala packet.  Mix well so spices are evenly distributed.

 

3.  Use a spoon to drizzle marinade over the fish as evenly as possible, using the back of the spoon if necessary.  Try to avoid having clumps of spices collect in certain areas. Marinate 1-12 hours, if possible.

 

4.  Preheat oven to the appropriate temperature for the fish you are cooking.  Place fish on a baking sheet and bake until fish reaches an internal temperature of 135 degrees.
